Jackson), a sceptical writer of books on the paranormal (John Cusack) checks himself into an allegedly haunted hotel room and finds himself its physical and psychological prisoner. Neat concept, generally well executed, but which loses restraint in the final third. Good to see Mary McCormack in it - 3/5
